I believe counselling provides new and renewed insight. I work from a holistic approach using the biopsychosocial framework to consider biology, psychology, and social factors that impact health and well-being. I am passionate about working with clients to explore challenges, strengths, and resources in order to support them to thrive.

I have worked with many individuals, couples, and families in various areas of concern such as mental health, well-being, and relationship challenges. I have a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and I teach in a Master of Counselling program in Calgary. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy, Systemic Therapies such as Family and Couples Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I take a culturally responsive and socially just stance in that I am anti-oppressive and anti-racist in my clinical, academic, and personal life. My clients tell me I am warm, intellectual, and empathetic and that I have an awesome sense of humour.
I speak Cantonese and can offer a language and cultural bridge. I offer in-person, telephone, and video counselling sessions.
I provide a 15-minute phone consultation at no cost:
